I don't get that, in all my years I have had really good luck with belts, like getting a lot of mileage out of a belt. Probably just jinxed myself!

I won't be out on the trails but with 2" of fresh snow I would think they would be OK, once back in the woods those trails had a lot of snow to work with and some great base, the farther northwest you go the better chance you will have for higher snowfall totals. 4-5" tonight for NW Vilas County...

Happy St. Patty's Day! 2" of snow overnight in MW Area and it's currently 19 degrees. Light snow at the moment, calling for 1" during the day and 4" Friday night. Trails should be OK now with 2" of fresh, if we get 4" tonight Saturday should be good to go. Ride on! and Ride right!

Starting to snow in Manitowish Waters at 8pm. Today was ugly, rainy and 38 degrees.

When I get old I hope to do something like that as well. I still want to make one more trip to the Boundary Waters with the youngsters (they are 32 now!)

Currently 39 and light rain at 10:00am in MW. WE have been downgraded to Winter Weather Advisory, maybe 4-8" of snow once we get on the cold side later this afternoon. Things still holding up but if we get .50" of rain that could change.

Yep, he's gone for the time being, that is a disturbing visual for a site like John Dee. Looks like something from a bunker in the Middle East or something similiar.
