If you hit a tree with todays sled going that fast it would be in 100's of pieces. Those sleds didn't even look like they were fazed.

Was at Bents Camps today and talked to a couple of guys tat came down from Gogebic. They said the lake was fine, Like Goofy said just stay on the trail. They were starting to prepare the ice in front of the bar for the bikini run.

You have to go pretty far south and that going to be a full day over and back to Ashland. The Hurley to Iron Belt to Upson, then up to near Saxon, left and follow US2 on to where it heads over to Lake Superior is a nice ride, nice views up by Superior, not sure if the resturants will be open up...

Same 2" overnight here in MW area, need some colder nights which are coming to really throw down some nice ribbons.

Total from Tuesday afternoon until 5pm Wednesday is 5" of heavy wet packing snow in MW. Looks like colder nights starting Thursday so trails should set up nice.
