Was up with my brother and Venturenorth, Trail 13 on western side of Gogebic was impassable going north, tried heading south, was ungroomed and obviously were working on trail. Saturday morning we trailered up to Bergland lot and headed up 13 once we got up to where the north country snowmobile...

so....got back from the U.P. Sunday had no issues starting the crosstour, didn't really know what to expect, just heard and seen the horror stories, was colder than a nuns unit but had no issues.

Sorry late response, I tried magic eraser, no go. picked up some "chemical guys" spray made specifically for that but there was so much paste wax embedded in plastic it literally just beaded off of it, tried agitating it with a brush...no avail. Checked local auto parts store and did not have...

Relay? is this something I can get at auto parts store? have a Polaris dealer right around corner from my shop is it something they would have? part numbers? is it a standard 5 prong cube relay?

Just a question... as some of you know I purchased my first 4s sled, is it smart to bring a jump box with on those bitter cold mornings just in case on those initial starts? when we were up in Grand Marais last year, mind you was bitter cold people staying next to us never left one day as sleds...

WOW Jim!!! is it possible to just barricade trails until clean up is completed? Boggles the mind why people would want to even ride that, give me a break! its only the first week of December, will be plenty of riding to be had hopefully.

This might be "one of the best starts to the season" but we cant forget... all the rain, snow and damage occurred only days before the start, I remember the pictures of water holes last year, and I can understand the hesitance of allowing just anyone to come in and help and know full well what...

Thanks Gary! one of the neighbor kids growing up had a Brut, didn't pay much attention to years and what it had back then, was just cool to be one of the kids on the block with a snowmobile, interesting that it was back in 1972 the first liquid cooled snowmobile was produced!

X1000!!! hopefully the cold is here to stay, would be a shame for a melt, only bad news will make for slow ice with a blanket that thick

Was there anything remotely close to that as far as engineering goes when that sled was produced? and what happened to Chaparral? too ahead of their time? one of the big 3 absorb it?
