My Bud in Sayner loses power in a stiff wind for days on end. Phelps was ok some of our power was under ground but in a good blow the open areas on Kentuck Lake Road would go down same area every outage. If it blows as forecasted trees are going down.

Rest assured there won’t be grooming anywhere until trails set back up. Can’t have groomers stuck in this soup and only would make conditions worse. TY has a sponsored ride out of Calumet this weekend and I expressed my concerns about grooming north of Mohawk and the bridge construction never mind the thaw. I was told the bridge and grooming were a go. Hopefully they have better sources than we do. Lol

You are allowed to ride thru logging areas at the good grace of the logging companies. Piss them off and you’re gone. Walk on eggs with loggers best behavior is mandatory they don’t like us pesky snowmobilers are a pita something that slows them down and are a safety hazard.

Sounds like scratcher time when sets up to totally enjoy your time on trail. Remember it’s wet out there.

Lots of 2up rentals in Eagle River on your way up. Trackside and Boat Sport both rent 2 ups. I can check with my bud in Three Lakes if you like he rents doos? Lando Rec also rents Doo 2ups another dealer on way up.

I’m a 4 stoker been on 4s since 2007. Bye bye AC and Yamaha and for me there is only 1 Oem to consider and that’s Doo. Polaris refuses to re enter the 4s snowmobile market probably never will again unfortunately. 😒 Its been a sad sad situation for AC and Yamaha for a very long time.

WI counties aren’t open until the day they say they’re open. Inspections , temps ,wind and rain can change target dates. 🤷‍♂️

Spring temps coming to the WI southwoods and the eastern half of USA actually we need the rain still in extreme drought conditions. Northwoods and UPMI enjoy the snow storm easy enough for us to trailer up.

Me too but not many companies willing to buy AC if on the market. Yamaha only wanted snow division but couldn’t come to an agreement with Textron mainly due to low ball offers. If Textron is done with all of AC both AC and Yamaha snowmobiles are in trouble. It would be terrible to lose both...

Who would want AC? Surely not Yamaha that ship sailed years ago. Now with electric on the horizon AC is even less attractive. Idk why Textron bought AC in the first place other than dirt products but still a bad acquisition overall. AC employees should be happy they were acquired a bankrupt...
