Took the kayaks out on the lake today & lots of color came in last 2 days. Many hardwoods in this area ....maples turning yellow ,red & orange. Checked my phone & had pictures of bright colors from September 22 last year. The mid 80s & late Labor Day is fooling us Fall color is on the way!:)

Saw that snomo crash coming like the rising of the tide. I'm thinking Sue doesnt have much experience riding sleds or she would have avoided glare ice then sliding & catchin an edge. No idea if she had studs but needed them for that stuff. What do you think?

I need to trim grass & weeds at lake front rocks & current Toro trimmer wears out the tap & feed string head on rocks. I have lots to trim around house & trees & dislike winding new string on the head. What are my best options?

Just not impressed with current lake water levels usually way up at this time. More snow melt to go but I think most of that water will soak into the ground. Still can rain/snow lots more but not looking good right now.:(

Are new sled inventories high at dealers in southern WI & IL? It has been a good selling season in nothern WI & WUPMI with snow on the ground since November.

Sitting out this coldwave ....-27 at 8AM just nuts! Anything -5 or above manageable for complete day of riding....Rode last year -30 big time frostbite....be careful out there.
