That is a possibility. I am not going use the blue tablets anymore. This one is dissolved all the way now. I once had a sticker label on the toilet get stuck on the flapper and that caused the water pump to not shut off.

I did a deep flush on the problem toilet and that fixed the water pump issue. I will use another toilet until I get someone to come take a look at the problem toilet. It is causing issues with the water level somehow.

There are no drops of water around the pump, but pump is a little moist on outside....

Another question. My water pump in basement runs for 20 seconds, around every 20 minutes. No water is being used in house for last few hours. Is this normal you think?? No noises from any toilets. House is 70 degrees.

Sometimes my toilet takes 3 minutes to fill the back bowl (urination). But after a dump it takes 12 minutes to fill before shutting off......My plumber says this is not normal, of course, they are booked up for the month of July......Any ideas??? He said it should be the same flush time for all...

EV are not cost effective at this point. We are still many years away when all of us will be driving an EV. Hertz rent a car returned all their fleet EV's because they were not cost effective.

I am having a mechanic at a small garage look at it......he says do not trust Marganthaler because he says he has never seen a gasket causing a leak...and that is the earliest he can look at it....he is backed up with work till then.

Thanks for all the feedback. We will know for sure what is going on in 2 weeks. I got a quart of oil in back seat just in case it starts dripping profusely or oil light comes on. Engine is super quiet when running.

I talked with another garage and they are skeptical of the diagnosis. They said just keep eye on oil and keep driving until drops actually are seen on the ground. They said they can look at it for a second opinion in July, because he said he has never seen a "leak" due to a gasket.

The inspection today shows I need one new oil pan gasket. They will call me with estimate tomorrow. I stopped at another garage on way home and they want $1k to install a new oil pan gasket. They said it is not cheap.

They have to replace tie rods for sure, and I will get an estimate of what it will cost to fix the oil issue. Hope it is not a major issue. Next wednesday is the appointment.
