Yes, anything past the Bergland landing exit is unsafe ice. You can get on the bottom of the lake from trail 101 and be careful the first 1/2 mile or so as there can be old tree stumps etc. sticking up. Plenty of room, just stay on the path.

Another 6" here NW of Spooner, WI. Great start to the year if we could only get our trails cleared.

We are in the same boat here in Burnett County. Tomorrow will be my 5th day out of 7 that I have been out on the trails. It's the worst I have ever seen. We had one spot that took a crew 3 hours to go 1 mile.

We would have opened the 12th, but the snow was so heavy and wet, trees and branches are down all over. It took one crew 3 hours to cover 1 mile of trail, and we have 100+ miles of trail. I tried posting some pics but had issues with that. We are hoping to be open by this weekend, but time...
