We are getting pummeled right now. Started at 3 am and has not let up since. Winds are crazy, visibility is less than an eighth of a mile. Schools were canceled, NMU closed and plowing is minimal. So far we've had 9"+ and no sign of letting up. It doesn't look like I've plowed after 3 hours...

NWS Mqt has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Thursday 8pm to Friday afternoon. Snowfall of 7-12" possible with wind gusts of 45 mph expected. Looking at the model runs, both Euro & GFS are in agreement, we cannot get a break here.

I know better, I'm just burned out. This winter has been a temperature roller coaster with a lot of wet heavy snows. A lot of ice everywhere making walking treacherous when shoveling. Winter here is a job in itself & this one has been a lot of work & lets not forget winter here can last well...
