The blizzard currently has broken a record in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The recent snowfall marks the biggest snowstorm in 136 years, with 26.1 inches recorded in the city as of 1 p.m.

On Sunday, the area recorded 17.1 inches and another 9 inches of snow fell today.

The biggest snowstorm the area has ever seen happened on March 1 and 2, 1888, when 29 inches of snowfall was recorded, according to the National Weather Service.​

I am so thankful that event missed us here in the Keweenaw. That was truly awful & I feel sorry for those that got hit. Despite missing the huge snowfall, our snow total to date thus far is currently at 329.0". I am ready for spring.

329" ???? YIKES!! I think it is mine and your fault the mid-section got hit so hard... I didn't want it and neither did you, so it went right between us! LOL!! those Eastern U.P. numbers are just mind boggling, I couldn't imagine!! heck we got about 5" here... there was a lot shut down. When I was out plowing in early a.m. I couldn't believe even the factories who's lots were even empty. I understand they had a "Blizzard warning" issued and I do understand what the definition of a blizzard is but it was no blizzard LOL!! we have truly forgotten what winter is down here. If we had gotten what they did in the eastern U.P. they would have probably brought the national guard in LOL!!
