This is so true. I did a 5 year apprenticeship for being a sparky and sure was nice having no college debt. Is it hard work yeah but I make a good fair living, and going to have a nice pension when I retire. The biggest problem is the next generation doesn't want to work in the trades.

You ever watch snowcross there rotors are always glowing bright orange. Amazing they don't catch fire. Ishoel rotor will be glowing bright orange by the end of the 1st lap.

Done the way it's going up there this year there will be no loops you can take anymore. Seems like a lot of trails with wash outs or bridges unsafe. Also makes it hard on the groomers to get around. Never good when it warms up too fast like it did in mid April.

Forest county in WI and iron county in MI are always nice with less traffic. When you take 2 out of watersmeet and head east you know the minute you pass 3 heading north,trail 2 is in better shape and smooth. 107 is always smoother than 3. I like trail 15 between iron river and trippler.

We are still snowed in. Our road has well over a foot of snow no plows in sight. With the sun this stuff is like concrete. I am not sure if I am ready to get chowed up by mosquitoes yet.🙂

Well over a foot in St.Germain

It has been a great season in Vilas this year. You could ride every weekend since Christmas except presidents day weekend. Will be taking last ride tomorrow in Gogebic if we aren't buried in by the storm.

3/31 St.Germain and Boulder junction. Overall trails were really good for last day of March. The picture with my wife in it is in Boulder close to Gooch's the other picture is At.Germain trail 15 by fern Ridge trails. What a great end to a really good season in Vilas.

I have parked at american inn several times this time of year when it's not swamped with trailers.
