My friend rode from Republic to Sidnaw today on Trail 8 and he said conditions were excellent. The guy at the gas station in Sidnaw said early part of the week has been as busy as the weekends lately. Wow

that report is encouraging for sure. I haven't heard anyone report in from Watersmeet north to sidnaw, bruce crossing or over to L'Anse and Big Bay. Would love to hear reports from those areas. Have you heard anything?

Well I completely agree with that. With so little base the increase sun exposure is more of an issue than if we have a deeper base. Makes sense. Just pisses me off we are even in this situation. So frustrating.

Can’t you say that after December 23rd every year? I honestly don’t think it matters really until March. Maybe someone smarter than me can comment about that but I’ve always thought through February we are good assuming “normal” weather
