Yamaha has donated the their last sled off the line [I believe it is an SRX SXR? I'll see it this Friday] It's right now on auction with a $105,000 bid. Bidding will close this Saturday with the announcement of who purchased it revealed at the Snowmobile Hall of Fame banquet Saturday...

Actually, that one looks better than the one I saw. All black and that lever was about 24" on the right side. Like I said, It looks like a lawnmower deck adjuster.

Don't remember who it was; just didn't peak my interest because it "look" awfully cheap and tinnie. The gear shift looked like the handle you have on a lawnmower that lets the deck up/down. It was new, only 300 miles but I certainly wouldn't purchase it.

I don't disagree, just venting my preference. as you know whose driving what. Back in the early 90's when I was introduced to the sport, Skidoo was killing it. A bunch of us would go Sunday of champ day and remark that "there goes my sled, there goes Bob's sled etc." Champ 440 is...

It has been an interesting year for the WCDC and racing. The weather has been the best it could ever be [although not for snowmobiling]. We have 18+" of ice and it's like glass. The racers have been extremely pleased with the track conditions. Vintage weekend Hot Seats were almost sold out...

The Chinese sled I saw 2 years ago was pure trash. It had a gear shift on it like a lawn mower!
