Had a friend move to Dane County from Indianapolis area last Spring. Definitely a different world there! He was from that area but hadn't lived there and was kind of surprised at some of the stuff going in schools for example. Let's just say I hope those people stay in their subaru areas there...

Was curious about the poo 4 stroke since I like the doo 900 for kids, even though I'm not a doo guy. The doo 900 is 497 lbs. The poo is a porker at 594. Thanks - good info. Going to be riding for 4 days and probably saddlebagging. Kind of figuring roughly 200-250 miles a day, start in the Duluth/Two harbors area, go out 2 days and back 2 days. Prefer windy and scenic trails over grades.

I agree with you 100% but they are saying dealers are already selling out their allotments. I guess no price is too high for some these days. A used garmin with vvmapping maps combined with one of the apps on your phone covers our group pretty well. The paper maps are still good for planning a day.

That's a good tip - didn't know that. 2 of my kids are cautious enough but it's the other one I'd be worried about, and this might help.
