Picbn, you mentioned the Carlin Club, that was one of my favorite places. It closed then it opened back up for awhile, but then it closed again, I think for good. Awesome place, great food, nice bar, and great views of the lake from the dining room with a nice fire going when it was cold out.

It's not in good shape, been closed for some time now. Not sure what's going to happen to it, too bad, it was a great place in the day.

Yep, it was a good winter, we had snow here since Thanksgiving on the ground and still have it. Under a winter storm warning for late tonight into Thursday. Could be mixed with ice/rain, if all snow we'll get 10-12" and it will be heavy wet snow which we really don't need at this point. Lakes...

There was a time I would have had some trail beers in there but honestly, I can't daydrink anymore, don't even want to. I save the drinking for after we get home now. That's just me, do your own thing.o_O

That box carries everything that I need when out in the woods if I breakdown. Tools, battery charger/starter, firestarter, lighter, a little antifreeze, extra gloves, hat, tow rope, etc. I ride alone sometimes and like to be prepared.

Love to catch and release, we’ll be netting in late April as soon as ice out for walleyes for tomorrow. It’s so cool to see the large fish we net and release.

I'm 69 and have heard and seen this for a lot of years. A wise man once told me "Try being part of the solution, not the problem" Take that anyway you want to but I find that saying to be true words of wisdom. The solution is different for everyone, good thing everyone has different skillsets......

Sun definetley melting snow now, it's time, not much happening up here now or for the next month. Lot's of places will be taking their winter break until May.

Cisco Chain is a great body of water, it's beautiful up there.

Real estate prices here in MW are insane, we bought our place in 2015 on the chain at a reasonable price, it has tripled in value since. I don't really think there will be a correction on the Manitowish Chain property because there is very little for sale, If someone dies a property might go up...

It's really melting fast, Yesterday was 54 and full sun and we probably lost a good 10" of snow depth. Calling for temps near 60 and sunny today so more melting will be going on. Not a bad season here in the northwoods. Living here year round and I only speak for myself, I'm ready for Spring...

Yes they are, drove down to Minocqua today and things are really melting down with full sun and 50+ temps.
