    Definitely Off Topic

when I go to these antique engine shows it is the mechanics that always get me going, some of those hit and miss engines with the timing and valve train mechanics make you wonder how they ever came up with that, all the moving pieces and the over all simplicity of it all running in complete sync...

    From AWSC. Price increases

I am not directing any of this criticism towards anyone so please don't take it that way, I've been in a few types of clubs through the years, was active in scouting leadership for a time. I find the clubs who seem they don't want to listen to anyone's ideas or are stuck in a rut od doing things...

    From AWSC. Price increases

It's ABOUT TIME!!! nobody will get any argument or objection from me, all goes back to the saying that "snowmobiling is not a right, its a privilege" and privileges cost money. last time there was a increase was 2013. We've had discussions at our club meetings about raising alliance fee's which...

Chaparral vs John Deere: A Build-Off Challenge

Kelly, as always you are a true master at your craft! One thing I did notice and mentioned before is the looks of the marriage between that green and black, Almost seems the more black being assembled into the sled the green takes on a completely different tone and I LIKE IT! looks SHARP!

    fuel system cleaner

Agree and what I generally do every year, I don't use stabilizers of any kind "out with the old and in with the new". This sled was last registered in 2023 and will definitely be draining fuel, putting in fresh. will likely put some techron in just to freshen up rest of system.

    Time for a New Helmet?

with oxygen, the view, the fit, and the fact that there are no breath deflectors all selling factors that sold me. would recommend carrying an extra helmet cables because when its not working.... it fogs/frosts up FAST!!

    Time for a New Helmet?

I miss having a visor over top, wish oxygen helmet had it. One thing I don't miss is the breath deflector, but would highly recommend if you would get a non current oxy helmet to get the vented shield, I think the current models come with it standard now.
