    So a Priest goes fishing....

On the last day of his trip, the priest hooked a monster fish and proceeded to reel it in. The guide, holding a net, yelled, "look at the size of that Son of a Bitch!" "Son, I'm a priest. Your language is uncalled for!" "No, Father, that's what kind of fish it is--a Son of a Bitch fish!"...

Rising fuel costs hinder planned trips?

If we stay on the current path of inflation, cost increases, food, gas, lodging, it'll effect all of us eventually.

    In Dog News today...

I slipped up. I wanted to post the following on Friday which was National Dog Day. You can read about it here https://www.nationaldogday.com/ Here's a picture of my Brown Eyed Girl, Maggie. Just had some surgery to remove a growth on her side. Nothing cancerous but it left a pretty good...

    I finally found it!

Been there and done that too! A couple of years ago at the end of the season I went to remove the trail pass sticker from my windshield. It left a heavy residue and I tried everything in the cabinet. Eventually, I got it off but it left a noticeable shadow and I ended up replacing the...

    Unlike Anything Else

Another AirVenture is in the books. We welcomed 650,446 visitors this year and that is a new attendance record. It was noted that there was an increase in families this year, thanks to Boeing, everyone under 18 got in for free. So after 7 straight days in the epicenter, you can stick a fork in...

The Original Side by Side, All Wheel Drive I found this one parked early one morning at the Air Show. I would buy one of these in a heartbeat if I had the room to store it.

    Unlike Anything Else

I'd hate to stear you wrong, no pun intended. The way they do it locally is that the right lane and middle lane are for exiting 41 near the airport. The far left lane is for Thru Traffic. But it's going to be slower than normal Interstate Speeds. If it were me I'd probably take 39 up and then...

    Unlike Anything Else

Day One is in the books, at least for me, I pulled an early shift 6 a.m. at Wittman Regional. I'm not a fan of getting up at 4:30 but there is nothing like the out of doors at that time of day. The air smells fresh and the quietness of Mother Nature is something to treasure. The following link...

    Electric vehicle

I foresee a gradual transition despite the current political climate. Sounds like they'd be fine as a second or even third vehicle. Grocery getter, running the kids to practice, etc. Then as technology advances, and it will, they'll become a larger segment of everyday vehicles.
