Rode Trail 5 from the trail 5/trail 8 junction. Definitely had enough snow, perhaps a few more runs from the groomer would be helpful. Aside from the area that had recently been logged which was about 10 miles north of the junction I thought the trail was in better shape than I expected. I...

CAUTION: I rode this trail yesterday. West of the 2/113 junction ON trail 2 there is a washout where water has been flowing across the trail and didn't freeze. some could be riding fast in this section of trail and you don't see it until you are on top of it.

Rode trail 15 from trail 2 north about 10-15 miles. Horrible. Had to turn around. Couldn't take it any more. Should have been on an ATV. The first couple of miles coming off of trail 2 (heading north) weren't too bad. Once you hit the deep woods and low areas it was thin snow and bumps. Hard bumps.

Rode 2 from Florence, WI west to Watersmeet today. Florence trails were surprisingly good. Not many rocks/gravel. For some reason, once you cross the bridge into Michigan the trail seems like it has less snow on it and has a lot of gravel mixed in. This is the case all the way to Iron River...
