Really good...trails are in nice shape

Nokomis is marked...but it is rough out there...be very careful on the east side (bootleggers/fishtrap side)...they had an ice fishing contest, with lots of trucks and 4 wheelers ripping it up out there...and there are a few plowed roads out there so don't go pinning it across the lake on that...

Yes...if you look in that roped off area...there are aerators...I believe Buckskin has low oxygen levels, and these aerators help keep the lake from having large numbers of fish being winter killed

Just got back from a short ride...Wisconsin's northwoods looking good (9 inches here in Tomahawk)...gonna be a great weekend 😀

Ended up just shy of 9 inches in Tomahawk...and still lightly snowing

In a word...BEAUTIFUL.....our little 2 to 4 inch storm turned into a 9 incher (and it's still snowing..lightly..maybe another inch over night)....no offense to our friends to the north...but there is no reason to go to Michigan this weekend...across the northwoods we are seeing 7 to 9...

Woke up to 5 1/2 inches of snow this morning..(lake nokomis area).and its still coming down...we already had a good base, and trails were pretty decent...now trails should be really good with the snow and expected cold weather....its gonna be the best riding in January that we've had in a long...

Update...Snowing right now..started at 10 pm last night.... already 5 1/2 inches since last night...Trails are gonna be really good !!! (Best they've been in January in a long time)

Yesterday I put 150 miles on...There is more snow north of Hwy 70 (as usual) and it definately showed in the trail conditions....the 17 trail (Railroad grade) was excellent Sunday morning from North Of Lac du Flambeau to about 3 miles out of Woodruff..trails get snirty,and gravely in and around...
