Haven't taken it in years, but trail on west side of Lake Gogebic takes forever to get to Berland----Lake, 15 minutes. It was always a good trail, just took too much time.

Always wore a Tek Vest when riding. Protection and posture. Once started wearing one, I never got tired even on long hauls.

I do believe that his point was young Ricky Racers [who needed to be carded] were heavily drinking and being inconsiderate. Politeness will get you farther.

I'm prob the one you are referring to [no harm]. I didn't say all, but I have seen enough deep lugs tear up a trail. All young throttle jockeys showing off. Guys like that have no respect and yes, I wouldn't mind seeing those off the trail, at least 2" and under. I've also seen others...

Nothing wrong with long tracks [of corse,137-144' are no long considered long tracks like in my day]. IMHO it's the deep lugs. Wouldn't bother me at all if they restricted the depth of lugs. Keep it 2" and under. I've seen too many deep lugs ruin a trail.

Tks. I'm the Track Chaplin [10th year] and yes all of us were really excited on the turnout. Trying hard to get back to what it was in the 90's. First year in over 2 decades that all 4 mfgs were on the track for the WC. Also, all 4 mfgs are supporting. Could be a great sign for the future...

If you jerry-rig a tarp over the sled/s, it will speed the process and if the heater is a large one, it won't take long.
