    Football's Winners & Losers

I'll never understand this argument. The kid is generating the school millions of dollars. In return he's getting an education worth $40K. College football hasn't been about higher education in my lifetime. It's about football. And football is the gold mine of college athletics. The...

All you can eat fish fry locations- summer 2023

Island View Lodge north of Mercer on Fisher Lake has a Friday fish buffet. They just started it this year, so no review from me yet, but I love the owners of the place and stopping in to see them on the sleds.

I have the same situation (although not as long) on the Cisco Chain. You can see his defined path straight up the middle of the picture

    Waning Demand?

Just picked up my new sled. My dealer is selling all of his stock orders at MSRP and they sell within a few days of hitting the floor. The back room was loaded with purchased sleds yet to be picked up. Only two new sleds on the showroom floor he just took delivery of. Didn't see any...

Does Anybody have the real story on Cell coverage in Northern WI and the Yoop?

It does now. Originally calls were always made over 2/3G signals. But starting in about 2019 calls started to get made over the 4G network using data. When you have full 4G signal, it works great. But when you don't, service for calls suffers.

Does Anybody have the real story on Cell coverage in Northern WI and the Yoop?

I've experienced the same as everyone else about Verizon service getting worse and worse. My theory is that this all started when they started the 5G rollout. And they are prioritizing 5G and the large metropolitan areas over 3/4G and less populated areas. Just a theory though.

    Electric vehicle

My EcoBoost that gets 22mpg empty gets 9mpg pulling my 23' inline trailer, so 40% of the unloaded MPG. That's right in line with a 230 mile range EV getting dropped down 100 mile range towing. Not sure how this is so surprising? These trucks (and current EV's) are not made for the frequent...

    2023 Yamaha Snowmobiles?

I agree with pretty much everything here. One thing to note - BRP breaks out their sales by category and "seasonal" is one - it contains Ski-Doo, Lynx, and Sea-Doo. Last year those three only accounted for 31% of their global sales. Can-Am accounted for 47%. So not even for BPR are the...

    Rollover I-75 Southbound Gaylord Exit

I regularly tow my 7.5' x 23' with an F-150. There are zero issues power wise but a good crosswind can make life miserable. For that reason I'd like to go 3/4 ton, but then I don't really want/need a 3/4 ton for days I'm not towing. A friend is waiting for his new Super Duty to be built and...

    Trailer repair????

This thread is about a year too late for me. Wish I would've known about Big River LTD a year ago when the shed my trailer was in got blown over and did $5K of damage to my brand new trailer. Having someone that puts a little pride into their work without me having to nitpick the work...

I'm guessing your radio talk show I'm guessing the radio show is talking about this study: https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/71/wr/mm7104e1.htm?s_cid=mm7104e1_w The show must've forgot to mention that the people with the best resistance not only had been infected, but also had the vaccine...

    trailer shopping

I bought a NEO from them at this time last year. No complaints here either. Exact same trailer as mine is now $4,000 more expensive.
