As others indicated, you need to buy online or at a retailer then keep your receipt (as proof you have the pass) until you get the sticker in the mail. Usually takes less than a week to get it in the mail.

I was up there riding right after Christmas and the ice was plenty thick on the lakes but a some of slush in spots. Trails were only open South of Hwy 70 at that time and the lakes were ridable but not staked yet. I'm thinking they may be mostly staked by now. Let us know how your trip goes...

I don't often see an entire snow event in this area where temps remain below zero from my sometimes inaccurate recollection. It does happen on occasion though.

The storm hit as advertised in the Minneapolis area with a good 6"-8". It never got above 0 during the entire snowfall. I was snow blowing this morning in an air temp of -13 a bit West of Minneapolis.
