Not sure of the nature of your surgery but hope all goes well and be sure to give yours time to heal. Question on trail 13 from behind your shop and looping up to Twin Lakes. I’ve heard that is closed. Do you know why and when it might re-open. Been one of our favorite trails.

Is there anywhere in CO that has a decent network of trails ? To justify a road-trip from MN it would be ideal to base from a town or resort and have 3 or 4 loops of 150 to 200+ miles per day. We’ve been to West Yellowstone and that works for the varied loops with this mileage but right now...

Just a note. If traveling along the Taconite Trail do not count on the Scenic Pines Store for gas or food as they have closed. Antler Lodge is not far away for a gas stop. I believe both of these are listed on Polaris app “Ride Command” as well as others.

Meant to say : Arrowhead region is usually good to great conditions but some years Brainerd area to Duluth and/or Brainerd to Grand Rapids is marginal. Just have to make a plan when the time comes..

Saber If you’re from IN then a 3 day run may not be worth it for you. In that case we could leave from my place in Brainerd and make it a 5 day run ; day 1 Brainerd to Two Harbors , day 2 to Grand Marais , day 3 to Ely , day 4 to Grand Rapids , day 5 back to Brainerd. Sounds like a nice Monday...

Anyone up for a saddlebag trip up the North Shore / Arrowhead region of NE Minnesoteric next week ? Like to go midweek to avoid high traffic like Monday to Wednesday or Tuesday to Thursday. Lots of snow there and trails are great. Probably meet at a trail side parking lot in Duluth or Two...

One option is to lay the machine on it’s side and remove the cover. Clean the gunk out , inspect , replace the oil , reinstall the cover. Diamond Drive needs to be clean to live , simply draining and refilling may not get the gunk out.

I’m on my 3rd F150 with the 2.7 ecoboost. Pull a 3 place in-line all daylong with no problem. Get about12 mpg pulling but the best part is 22 - 26 mpg when not pulling. Usually run them to 60,000 - 80,000 miles then trade them. Trading my 2018 with 78,000 in a few weeks as my new one should...
