just got this sled from my boss this year and last night it just lost power in the cylinder on the belt side, the plug is soaked in fuel
i'm getting new plugs today but has anyone had this happen, is there a typical problem?
I looked up coils on line and they are cheap but there are also stators, sensors, etc......
just looking for ideas/experience
Thanks, jonesin

is there anything specific to look for or avoid in the coils, are there different brands or anything or are they all oem?
I blew a belt also, is there a specific brand/type or anything that you have had better luck with than others?
Thanks

yep, going to pick them up on the way home and try it, searched the bags and didn't find any spares and it takes diff than what i had, besides it was really hot and late at night
dealers want $176 for an oem coil and the aftermarket start at $22, even the dealer will order aftermarket and want $51, i get nervous buying on line don't know if i should trust the cheap ones but they look identical.......
luckily it happened when i got home late last night and was taking a couple hot laps in the field for fun before putting it away, didnt have to go pick it up anywhere

Thanks for reporting back. Usually threads like this just hang in limbo, now someone else with same prob could gain some knowledge.

no prob, had to wait to get to work to do it, didn't have password at home
this sled is new to me so i am probably paranoid but i also blew a belt and i put a new one on and then an old one and when you go to take off it makes a funny sound as the belt grabs when you are taking off slow, almost sounds like rocks bouncing around
i didnt have a helmet on at the time so maybe i just never noticed it before, when i pin it i don't notice it as it seems to grab right away.....
this sled is a rocket compared to the old indy 500 that i peddled to keep up with everyone for the last 12 years..... trees come quicker!
