ezra, I don't doubt that this has been done before. I just cannot recall the exact positioning of the off-set on the new post. I am going to ask a dumb question, wouldn't the lower post mount have to be off set to the left to compensate for the post offset? The reason I ask is, when we tried this the first time, the post was cantered to the left, as such, we felt the lower post change was the simplest. Nonetheless, however you can complete the install, it is well worth the effort. It sure would have been nice to just swap out the part but it didn't work out that way for me. To me, it was simpler to remove the exhaust & post, cut & weld the post & replace. What ever works, that is the important part. Good luck with it, I know I don't regret it.-Mezz
