what is acc plug for shields AC or 12DC.I have a sub par tester I am coming up with 11v at 1200 to 2000rpm and dropping to about 9v at around 6000rpm but like I said my meeter is crap.trying to hook up a koso air fuel wide band and it needs 12DC.am I going to have to put a battery in the trunk and just use it for tunnig?or do you guys know or good 12v DC or a adaptor.

The voltage shouldn't drop below 12 at a higher rpm. it should be constant. and yes, you will need to rectify the power, or run a battery in the trunk if it is only a temporary tuning tool. If it will be permanent, a universal regulator/rectifier from the aftermarket catalogs would be fine. Could probably find the right one for your sled to just bolt on if you dig a little. One from a e-start model.

I went to batteries + today they told me I could run the ac in to a 12v battery and run the gauge off that they said 13volts to 8 volts input would be fine in to battery and battery would rectify voltage and give me a constant 12.6 volts well what the heck it is only a $335 for the gauge another 4or 500 for a stater and maybe 4 hrs to replace the stater so I am going for it let you know how it turns out
