I have a 2008 crossfire 600 that has a bad bog in it when you first go to take off. than it will slowly come out of it or if you let off and crack the throttle to the bar it will come to life. I was told that there is to much play in the throttle and that is what is causing it. but thought i would see if you guys on here had any other things i should check out. thanks ksmith

Make sure you have the right spark plugs in it.
I know, it sounds stupid. however I bought my sled from a guy who said it had a low end bog. The first thing My friend did was check the the plugs. Wa La, Wrong plugs, 7500 Hard Rockin, trouble Free miles later i'm here to tell you it's possible!•••••

obob that cant be true I was just on a yammi post and thay say you cant get 7500mi on a 2strk. deff check deflection plugs and make sure your weights move free try to grab clutch 1 hand on each side and push pull and see if it moves free it will be hard but should open with out catching.but chances are if you go in to your tool kit take out the little tool that fits in to plug wrench and tighten white plastic adjuster on clutch prob every 4 to 500 mi.

Kyle:

I had the same exact symptom for a couple years straight with my '04 F7. The dealer and I trouble-shot all of the aforementioned suggested items to consider and nothing we did remedied it. I began to post on Arctic Cat Chat and Hardcore Sledders and was told by a couple guys on there that it sounded like a reed problem. It took me awhile to convince the guy at the dealership, because he said reeds either work or they don't, so he didn't think that was the problem. Finally, he agreed to check them and discovered that they were bad (he was shocked.) I had the reeds replaced and it's run perfectly ever since! I wish you luck in getting this remedied, as it was totally frustrating to have it bogging like that.

I have a small cam that you can stick in air box through carbs and see reeds.if you are buy west metro MN lake minnetonka I will look at yours or go buy one at home depot.I have the ridged they also sell a Hilti.pulling reads on a f or m blows!if you don't have to to don't want to.and if you go v force be prepared to have to just barely pinch the throttle every time you go to start it

Sounds to me like you have a crossfire 600. This is a very common issue. The 600 motor likes a hot pipe. When the pipe is cool, they often bog when you first take off.
