Ok I just replaced my motor over the summer and finally was able to get it out for a test run. It runs great but at idle the battery light is on lights are dim rev it everything is fine. Turn the warmers on high light is on lights are dim at any rpm. What could this be? Thanks Adam

stator output not up ton suff ? but I thought all doo had a battery so should work fine for at least a short time even with week stator.

guess then first step is to check stator output . not a doo guy so cant tell u what wires to check but my money is on stator. that really sucks seeing as the motor was just on the bench. did it get dropped or parts stacked on it when swapping from old block to new?

Not that I know of. But I did notice last year that when going from low to high beam the battery light would flash and it sometimes would quit when going into reverse at an idle.

it could be some sort of other grounding or computer issue but 1st thing to rule out is stator output
