It snowed real hard for about 3 hours...we ended up with just over 4 inches...it's real fluffy though...either way it should help the trails out a bunch...just watch for ice in the corners, and the lakes are very rough (all that slush froze)......the snow was heavier south than it was north...rhinelander only had around an inch at 3 pm.
We certainly needed this....with the colder weather in the forecast, if the clubs can get out and pack the trails..we should have pretty good trails by the weekend...hopefully the knuckleheads are not out blowing the snow off the trails before the club can get out there.
Trails won't be perfect...but they should be fair to good for this weekend...any additional snow will just be an added bonus...with low Temps expected to be in the single digits (after tomorrow)...the trails should set up real nice once they are groomed...again...watch the lakes, and icy corners (slow down)...otherwise...we are back to riding again
