It started snowing last night around 10, it is still snowing but slowing down, we have about 5 plus inches of new snow to go with our 1 to 2 inch base. The wind is suppose to pick up which should fill our ditches for the winter. Most of our local trails are groomed ditches so we will be good to go.

Duluth is still under a Winter Storm Warning, but snowfall amounts keep trending downward. Forecast was for 6-8" or so today, but we've maybe received 0.5" so far. Forecasted totals now 3-5" or so.

We have also been told 3-5" today through Fri morning, so far just a few flakes throughout the day. Temp trends for the upcoming Christmas week are looking to be in the Mid to upper 30's, the roller coaster continues & still no ice on the lakes.

An outstanding 1/2" in total since late yesterday afternoon. :rolleyes:For now, at least the temps remain in the teens, for now. It looks like we will be seeing temps in the mid to upper 30's next week. This is the result of a weak La Nina I guess.
