Here in the banana belt of the Keweenaw, we received 3" over night, more up in the Calumet area of course & a little nippy this morning with a temp of +6f. Suppose to be calm through the day today, then the snow gates are suppose to start to open. It's going to be interesting for the next few days.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from 7p tonight to 7a Thurs, then a Winter Storm Warning is in effect until Sun. Light snow at the moment & a balmy +10f. The Calm before the storm perhaps? All I can say is it was nice to have a break today as yesterday the snow needed to be moved twice & each time, it didn't look like you moved anything.
