Took another run today...this time with the old phazer...the trails that were being groomed or panned...have set up nicely with this brutal cold weather (it was 20 below in ldf this morning)...areas on the railroad grades that were loose, and some what snirty in spots, were flat, fast, and hard....much better. It's still a bit thin in spots in the wooded trails, especially south of hazelhurst...however there is snow in the forecast thursday...a couple inches of snow will freshen the trails up nicely.

The storm that missed us last week might be a blessing in disguise, as this cold weather is starting to tighten up some of the wet areas, and lakes...which is a plus...hopefully after this cold spell we get some heavier snow...especially from Tomahawk and to the south....then maybe the Lincoln County trails will open.

Rode St Germain on 12/25 and most trails were flat and in decent shape because of minimal traffic, but they are in need of snow. If snow comes, the trails should be great because of the nice frozen flat base.
