Looking at the above used sled for the wife...what's your experience with how many miles these 600's go before you need to refresh the top end? Piston's/Cylinders. Debating if I want to take a chance or just buy something new. Real life experiences wanted. Thx

Good info - thanks. I know you're the Doo guy around here, so what's your opinion on price I'd be looking to pay for this sled, used, but perfect condition.
'16 Renegade E-TEC 600-X HO, Ice-Ripper track on it. Around 1000 miles.

Sounds like a good used sled 1000 miles just broken in for a 600etec. If Dealer any warranty?... Adds to used value for sure...ice ripper a great track have one on my Yam XTX. So considering a long track for Vilas trails or is it "the deal" I do know how much you luv a good deal.LOL:)

Thanks guys. They are literally quite insane at the price they want. I'm not biting, but I do LOVE the black on black. Don't really like the long track but I'd take it.
I seriously doubt you're going to get that sled at $7500, but it should be possible at no more than 9 G's.

You will never get that sled for 7500. 9k would be a very good price. 8-8500 would be steal, 9500 is probably top dollar for that sled right now.

Just for reference buddy bought a 16 MXZ X 600 last February with under 1k miles for 9600.

I know you are the guy for Doo info, and I agree with your ranges. Then again Ez could be right with the bad years, people could be holding onto their stuff and not buying.

Yes, please do share info on dealers with leftover 15's/16's. 4 stroke's or 600 E-TEC interest me. Kind of set on a Doo, but looking at a great deal on a Pro-S in MN as well.

Agree all dealers sitting deep on non current 600s 2s 120hp 4s. Doo Aces were hot sellers but nothing special about 120 hp 2s or 4s. Wicked good winter will move all sleds but OEMs know they have to offer incentives to move non currents before the snow flies. To me nothing at all wrong with with 16 doo 600s & 800s but new 17 chassis & 850 release made them old doo tech. IMO there has to be some super deals on doo 16 non currents that must be purged for 17s. If I was a 2s guy I would be all over 16 doo non currents at some point you will be able to buy 16s at extreme discounts. I expect a doo in season debate that not much difference in handling of doo 16s & 17s....time will tell but 16 doos were great handling sleds. Technolgy moves on but doo could have stayed with non current chassis & etec 800 and still lead the 2s market with their sleds for a few years. To me buying used sled with 1000 miles or less with an iceripper track spells good to go as is ...gas & go no need for upgrades great ride as I hate new break in BS.

I think you know but if you don't Pat's moving 16 4s Vipers may be waiting for Yam to give Fall incentives but worth talking to Kip.

Not considering Yamaha at this time, need light weight for wife to ride. Pro-S @ 432 lbs., 600 X @ 470 lbs.
Not perfect comparison, Pro-S is a 120, 600 MXZ-X is 137 - dry weights. I can live with either.

If I remember correctly wet weight on the 2016 pro-s 600 and 2016 mxzx 600 in last years shoutout was within 10lbs.

Was like 534 vs 540. I think the poo was a 136 and the doo a 129, so for gade add a few more lbs.
