1999 SkiDoo 500 RAVE oil usage is low

Last ride of the year my 1999 SkiDoo 500 started using less oil. Last tank only used a pint. Someone else was riding it and said the performance was starting to decrease. Seems we caught it before any noticable damage. Where do I start looking for the problem?

If performance dropped off I am not sure that you caught it in time but the first thing I would do is replace the oil filter (if it has one), bleed the system and check the oild pump adjusment and then pre-mix your first tank of fuel this winter. Then you can see how much oil it is using for the first tank.
