Who's the guy always saying things like: "Too early, melts anyway, need cold temps to freeze things up first" ?

I don't like the looks of things either. A little to El Nino-ish to me for next week. But still no cause to hit the panic button...yet.

Yeppers John too warm next 10 days or so just hope by Thanksgiving things change for deer hunters as well. No biggie for WI Northwoods still plenty of time & sleddin season won't open until mid December anyway. Ice started to form on lakes in Vilas but warm up with rain will melt that away. If I remember correctly WUPMI opened Dec 1 last year with about a foot of snow so looking for that opportunity in forecast again?

Past week has been pretty nice actually, hasn't been above 40 degrees (normal high in the low 40s) since October 30th with snow in the air 5 or 6 days. But yeah, the next 10 days look to be going in the opposite direction. Still early though.

We have already had a couple of snowfalls of over 4" a few hundred miles to the west of most of you and I have seen sled tracks both times. The temps have also been a lot colder since the first of October than the last few years. There is also talk of a good sized storm this weekend with possible snowfall of a foot or more. I have not seen a late fall like this for quite a while, and I hope it keeps up throughout the winter. I hope you have a great season over there also.

No koolaid for me and everything I was expecting turned out?????? Everything. Besides snow before the ground freezes is wasted snow to me. I would trade in the six months of so called winter for 3 months of hardcore winter anyday. Blizzard of 78 you are not forgotten.

Duluth is only two weeks away..the snow they're making now will be washed away this weekend there talking thunderstorms up here for the weekend.

Yep was in Greenland,MI today & talked to others very very upset with election results too.
I went up there to cheer myself up & the car ride actually did me some good seeing the beautiful WUPMI & all the road trail crossings. Also stopped at Lando Rec old Ramesh dealer & they are doing some good things that Ron didn't do. Also had all the doo 4s models on the floor never seen that before at any doo dealer. Good to see.

No problem with sled demos & free sale of your old ride nice perks. For me no ridie no sellie I can decide which sled is best for me. For me 4s Renegade X & 4s GSX simular sleds with different suspensions test ride would decide for me. Ron would not do this at least for me when I asked.
