2-11 jack pine relic ride (long riders)

Any one planning on doing this ride? I will be on the 73 johnson phantom.

Should be a good time. Was just wondering if any one on JD was attending.
Would be nice to meet up. We have 4 relics in our group.

Won't be able make this one but sounds like a fun ride. The ride name is great! Have to love the "Phantom" name too. Guess it and the "Golden Ghost" names fit the concept Johnson was promoting.

Not 100% sure if you have ever posted photos of the Johnson (thought I saw some a couple of years back). In any case, if you have some, post em' up. Also, it would be cool to see some photos of your group and the ride.

Thought I did at some point. Pulling it out this weekend. Will take some pics then. I cant find the ones I had.

Nice!

There are a lot of sleds on that ride! Have to like the sound of all those vintage engines warming up and the snowfall just makes the scene a little extra cool.

What a blast! Only took a few pictures. My arms being jello from fighting to keep the Johnson in a straight line. You get in to some moguls and let me tell you...... slamming and pounding my body took lol. Going to be obtaining some faster relics for next year.

We were wrenching on the sleds till last minute. Our group had a 77 panther, 79 JAG, 73 Johnson.
Picked up a bridge rectifier from radio shack the morning of the ride and fixed an electrical issue with the johnson.

That Johnson is awesome! I'm assuming it has a cigarette lighter. Real luxury when you could light up a heater on the fly back in the day.

What are you thinking about for a little more speed?
