It was warm yesterday...but it's cooling off today, overnight we are supposed to get snow showers, and temps will be below zero (single digits). The wooded trails are still good to very good...the main corridors took a bit of a hit, especially through towns, and near road crossings... Any of the trails that use roads or the sides of roads will be thin, and of course parking lots are thin or bare. So plan your routes accordingly, and you will be fine. Still some very good riding out there, with nice trails, especially north and west of Tomahawk....you might encounter a bit of ice in the corners, so watch for that.
The good news is.....A potential BIG snowstorm may be coming for Sunday night into Monday, which could really refresh the trails...AND temps next week are expected to be about average to a little below for this time of the year..so unless we get a multiple day thaw, we should have good riding up here the next couple of weeks.
