This time of year the LES storms dump more snow in Paulding,Watersmeet & northwestern Vilas than in the UP snowbelts that are really close to the lake....just to warm close to the lake. It will be nice to see snow falling again but tuff to get excited this early about lasting snow. By mid November the ground & air is cold enough to keep snow on the ground then by Thanksgiving pretty much winter around here all good from there.
