As you can see...its not bad...a few thin spots, but I'd say so far 6.5 to 7 out of 10...its early season riding conditions no doubt...but I've ridden on fair worse..
.stay on the marked trail on nokomis...its hard to see from the pictures but there are large drifts near the big ice heave, and lots of ice fisherman...so stay near the markers....im headed back out ....if we get the snow tomorrow..these trails will be really good...because they aren't half bad as they are...just happy to be riding again

Another northern shift in the storm tomorrow, looks like it’s aiming right at you now. Should help out the northwoods immensely

It's taken a beating tonight...trails that were decent earlier today are down to the dirt in spots...lots of sleds here...businesses are loving it...but some of the trails are toast already..need the snow tomorrow...lets hope it really hits us...the lake is great..but im gonna go park it for now...as happy as I was to be riding, the trails got burned to dirt quick with the amount of riders here..the railroad grade is mostly gravel right now..id stay off it...if u want to play ...stay on the lake as much as possible tonight.

Me too...the lake is great...but everything else is beat to the dirt...im shocked how many people are here riding...I probably shouldn't be, because when northern Wisconsin has snow...people would rather ride thin snirt conditions here than trailer to the yoop...not dissing the yoop...just stating facts

Ended up with over 6 in nokomis...a friend south of Tomahawk had 7 1/2" ...the trails improved greatly with the snow...a bit of grooming, and they should be in decent shape...the railroad grade is still a bit gravely in spots..but better than yesterday.

LOL...You should have seen Mercer today...It was an absolute zoo...50 trucks/trailers parked at the Great Northern Motel...50+ sleds parked behind the building...30 sledders waiting in line to gas up at Shell around 10amish when I was there...Tr # 17N was completely trashed, the worst I have ever seen it...Minocqua groomed the Bearskin from Hwy K north to the bridge...I was the second sled on it early this morning...Sweet
