went 350 miles and then it just lost all its go. will start up and have to feather throttle wont idle if i dont. if you go to hammer it it boggs down and kills its self. but if you feather up to speed and higher rpm it will go once hammered sometimes just depends. so i cleaned carbs all good there, got spark, compression stayed at 90psi in both cylinders and it was a gauge from auto parts store so i figured it was off but read same reading in are other sled. i dont know if its not getting fuel but if u ease it it will not die out but just runs like poop. i dont have anymore ideas at lost???

Could be water in gas. I have seen the same issue from that. Try some isopropyl is gas and run a while. If that is the problem it would clear up fairly quick.

thanks i will try choke out when i get chance to get out to barn again, i believe it has round 3000 miles. i figured fuel pump or something but idont know. also i will dump some stuff in tank and try that. also i noticed seems like clutch side cylinder just doesnt seem to be like missing or not fireing. takes exhaust manifold on that side long to warm up then other cylinder.

When cleaning the carbs are you certin that the pilot and main jets were clean?Did you remove the jets and look thru them?I have found that soaking them over night or running a wire thru them work best.

Double check the compression 90 pounds is not good. Should be more like 120/125.

thats what had me too im use to more then that, but heres thing i got compression tester from local auto store as loaner bring it back by end of day thing, and on a 97 ultra 700 it said same thing. and ya when i cleaned carbs i could see right through jets into the light above me.

Exactly......"double check"

But I wouldn't think a guage would be off by that much....that's a lot.

Had a very similar problem years ago on a Indy Trail 488 fan cooled. Ended up being a hole in one of the fuel pump diaphragm's.

im thinking fuel to because it runs until under a load but im prob gonna take head off and just check that too, if it was just fuel pump it would be nice
