I have ordered a Wiesco bottom end gasket kit twice for a 2003 F7 and on both occations I have received F6 kit. looked the part number up in the Wiesco catalog and it is the correct part number but when I receive the kit it is for a F6 and the seals will not fit the F7 case. Has anybody else had this problem and is there a soulution?

why wont they fit it is the same bottem end same crank same jugs same rods just punched out 50cc more on the 700 I assume the jug wont slide past the base gasket I would just trim the inside of gasket then take picks call up and bitch say you had to put it together to go on a planed trip and you want the corect set deliverd free of charge buy the time you get home.then hang them up in the shop and you have a set next time you or a bud works on a 700

Ezra,

Top end on F6 and F7 are the same kit, the bottom end is not the same. The crank shaft PTO and stator ends on the F6 are larger than the F7 therefore the seals are different. everything else is the same.

Talked to Wiesco and they say that the WB1109 kit is the only one they have for the F7 but this kit is for the F6 and will not work. They were not aware of this and were not able to provide correct kit. So for all that have an F7and need a rebuild kit you will need to find another source for the crank seals if you get a kit from Weiso.

How about trying a local Arctic Cat dealer. They should be able to get you the correct parts.
