2006 polaris classic perc reverse not working

on my 06 classic 600 perc reverse 2100 miles last year when i hit the button it would die warmed up or cold i hit the choke half way and it worked this year cleaned carbs tried reverse it does nothing at all when button is pushed. any ideas anyone have this problem? thanks

Check compression sometimes if its low they'll die going in reverse and/or backfire.

it does not die anymore it does nothing compression is even on both cylinders and runs and drive great but when you push button it does nothing at all thanks for info

I had to replace that switch pod because another button quit working on my fusion. About $50 on ebay

i am thinking it is the switch pod it worked on and off last year now nothing thinking it is the pod controller thanks for the help
