Headlights flickered and went out, now I have no headlights, high or low beam, no tail lights, speedo light and the PERC reverse will not work. The sled starts and runs, any suggestions? Hopfully not a lighting coil.

Voltage regulator... Test the output at a power source, like t/l bulb socket. Or, drop it off and tell them they have 1 hour to figure it out, or your gonna buy a Doo!! Just kidding, hope its something simple, but definately a warrnty issue.

Agree it's likely the voltage regulator, but a buddy just had a funny problem with his Assault. He had changed the hand warmers because he switched bars. But when he put the new ones on, he just put them right to the bar. after a short time, unbeknownst to him, they started shorting out on the bar. Handwarmers didn't work, dash would go out, sometimes the sled would quit, sometimes it would run funny. A service guy figured it out. So, if you changed hand warmers and didn't put electrical tape under them, that might be part of the problem.

i had a heated helmet plug with a frayed wire that would touch the frame every so often and short out all my lights and tach
i just put a new cable on and made sure its secured away from the frame and wrapped
i guess check all the cables to they're not shorting out lol

I have no juice coming going to the voltage regulator. I was told it is probably a bad stator. Does anybody know if I have to pull the engine out to get at the fly wheel?
