I also agree with wally that all dealers get the remaps. I dont know why a dealer would tell you he doesnt have the flash. Maybe they didnt like you? I know Canada sometimes gets remaps before USA because of our wonderful Emissions programs.

Remap sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Bought my 09 800 switchback last december and had nothing but problems. All remaps are done and still backfires like day one. Just blew sled up this week again. Get this guys and gals. New motor from factory, rebuild before I take it home, 1000 miles blows bottom end out, and now at 1500 miles this season the engine blows everything apart again. Talking whole new crate engine from polaris only to be covered under a extended warranty that I bought from a private company. Thank goodness I bought that. Best $850 every spent. Yes I'm still a polaris lover. Have ranger crew and kids 4 other polaris sleds sitting in the garage. My sled has become the laughter of our riding group. Makes good conversation at the 2 dealers that have tried to perfect the sleds problem. Maybe Polaris will give me a spare to use pretty soon. LOL

If I had all those problems I would sell the sled and never do any business with that dealer ever.

I have learned over the years when I had Ski-doo snowmobiles back in the upper 80's they did not know how to set them up right, and I had problems.

That's when I switched to Polaris used 5 dealers to find the best one to take care of me.
One in IL and one in WI.

Just like the remap problems I never had problems, I just want more speed so I got the new remap, I never had a bog on my 800 Dragon or 800 IQ, 1,500 miles on 800 IQ that I sold last year for 800 Rush.

Some dealers are not very good at getting things running right on sleds had problem back in 96 to 98 switched Polaris dealers my 600 xcr was not fast enough had it reclutched from a different dealer and it ran great.

I had one dealer in WI who could not get it right. He lost all my business.

The last 10 years I have been dealing with 2 dealers one in Gridley IL, and one in WI, which was Manitowish Waters, know they don't sell new sleds, this year all my business is back in Gridley Il.

The dealer is up to date on all the newest things for sleds all the time.
Always has a answer for me when I ask him about the latest things for sleds, that's what I want.

Alot of Polaris dealers in WI, bit the dust over the years, 4 ski-doo dealers, and 2 Polaris dealers in IL were I live.

As soon as we get more snow??? in IL, or 2 weeks when I go to Mercer, I will let you know how the new reflash worked on my 2009 800 Dragon, and let everyone know about the 2011 800 Rush how it compares to 800 Dragon on speed and handling.

Still the 800 Dragon looks better than the 800 Rush.

Better hope it snows in Mercer too, nothing left last I heard.

We were planning on going, trip canceled for now.

Agreed on the DRAGON being easier on the eyes compared to the RUSH.

The RUSH is much better looking than the old sled, IMO.
