2010 Arctic Cat Recall

It's in the paper here in Peoria IL, Arctic Cat recalls 16,500 sleds do to a crack in the front suspension A arm, witch could cause a loss of control of sled, this is funny do to the Arctic
Cat people saying how perfect there sleds are compared to Polaris.

Hopefully nobody gets killed.

they called back all sleds for red ski and steering arm issues eaven though no one was eaver hurt or wrecked .better than some others who pretend there is no issue and blame the consumer for the manufacturing and say they abused the product .

Good case of corporate America using humans as crash dummies, must have gotten the idea from Bill Gates and his constant Microsoft screw ups.

Seems like an oversight on the engineers part. They should have known going with a cheaper metal or maybe they got the wrong metal that HAZ (heat affected zone) around a weld would cause hydrogen imbrittlement, hence the cracking of the steel. Pure speculation, but as a welder for 20 years, they drum that in u from day one with welding. Usually it's the weld that becomes brittle not the base metal. My 2 cents, for what it's worth. Sorry 2010 owners, I wouldn't ride it until fixed!:(
