I would recommend buffing out the scratches on the hood and installing a bigger front bumper. That way when you hit the back of my sled the nose of your sled does not go into my tunnel so far!!!! Sorry I could not resist!!

Rebuild clutches. Obvious things like repack bogey bearings and driveshaft bearings, new slides, etc. Change oil but i'd assume you've done that. If you've done or had the basic stuff done not including clutches, i'd start there.

++ Jack-shaft bearings, especially since POLARIS in yet another F.U.B.A.R. cost savings decision deleted the LEFT side jack-shaft zerk fitting

Yep, kind of a joke.

We take the secondary off (very easy to do, take your belt off first) and pry the seal off of the bearing. Then just pack the bearing with some good grease and put the seal on the best you can. They recommend doing that about every 1000 miles and also before summer storage.

Your right Jim, Just a litle rubbing compound!! LOL

Thanks guys, I got all of the normal stuff, however I will take a close look at that jack shaft bearing.

I'm hoping on getting a little more riding in before I go into maintenance mode.

I have a 2006 and didn't replace the jackshaft bearing until this year at 11,000 miles. The drive bearings went at 9,000, so if you ever have the track down, do them before then. Once I got past the first year issues, the sled has been pretty good, but both bearings went on UP trips a year apart and this year I've had to replace the primary clutch and the alternator. You put on the miles like I do! :)
