I think upfitter switches are for plow lights, or other accessory lights, etc.
Nice truck. What do you do for a living? I'm in the wrong business.

Thats what I was thinking. I'm not running any cab lights or anything so I may drop those. That will save a little over $100.

I am actually a 'Bus driver. :)

are posi-rear ends or traction-lock rear ends standard now-a-days?? if not, i would consider that a must. i haven't ordered a truck in a while. it could be standard on a 4x4, or included in trailer package

Upfitter Switches can be used for any additional accessory on the truck, they can control anything you wire them for. Some of the things people have used them for are to make the truck idle higher, lights, reverse trailer lights, etc. For $100 why not get them in case you need them for something later

Good point. I do have backup lights on my trailer. Would be nice to use as a pseudo loading light.

I would lose the 20 inch rims, they look cool but wait till you have to replace them. Bigger rim will also limit your tire choices and give you a bumpier ride. I would take the switches. I am a ford dealer, just my opinion. Nice truck, also consider the extended warranty for a first year build motor. Should be a great motor!

Is there a dual battery option?

You've got the right color combo.

On my last two trucks I've had 20" wheels and would never buy anything in a smaller diameter again. And the switches are a keeper as well; you'll find something someday to wire up to them.

Looks like yer order'n up a curb queen...

I'll leave the Queen's in San Fran. ;-)

Can't help it. I have had cars/trucks in the past that didn't have everything I wanted. If all goes right I plan on keeping this one for a LONG time. So I figured since I am ordering it I am going to pay for the stuff I want and not what i don't want if I were to a dealer's lot model.

Couple things that are just my opinion:
I have the 20 inch rims on mine, look good and are not bumpier
LOOK into the extended warranty by ford to, I have it and have used it but ford really limits what they cover, I had to make a few calls to get stuff covered that they said should b covered....

20" tires cost more than 17" tires but sounds like if your ordering brand new a couple extra hundo at replacement time is no big deal. So go for the PIMP look!

These new diesel emissions with the urea tank sound spooky to me...

What is this 1995?

Unfortunately Ford let a LOT of people down with their 2nd-to-last (6.0L) diesel motor... I can tell you we have 7 in our shop RIGHT NOW! this is why engineering changes to already manufactured trucks are a no-no.... as well as some other mistakes I'm sure that resulted in a very poor diesel, black eye for Ford.

This is the reason Ford went away from International. Customers went back on Ford, Ford went back on International, and International wouldn't back their product so Ford dropped them. Unfortunately it's the consumer that get's affected most.

I will DEFINITELY have warranty coverage for the entire length I am financing.

Watch what tire they put on the truck. My 06 came with Pirellis and the truck was bad on wet or snow covered roads. Now I have BFG all terrains and the truck is awesome in the snow. Limited slip would be a must. Get the upliffters. I am going to add them for me. Also look at the springs in the truck. Make sure they are adequate for what you will be doing (towing, plowing, etc)

Also do the F-350 for the little extra money. Make sure you get dual batteries. Get a cold front for the grill.
