The two hotels are now offering rooms for $60 a nite. The copper crown best western in hancock, mi and the super 8 in houghton mi.
Tell them you are staying to the "make a wish foundation".

It depends what part of "Central Western Michigan" you're in. I'm driving up Thursday from S/E Michigan.

If you end up meeting in Houghton Lake you are more than welcome to park a vehicle at our business. We have a fence that is locked in the evening and good lighting for security. If this is something you would consider just e-mail us at houghtonlakemarina@frontier.com.
