Polaris has to do it , their customers have lost confidence in them, a 2 hour ride won't change my mind.

Speak for yourself. Don't you ever have any thing nice to say. I read all 31 posts by you and not one was positive. What gives? All that hate is not good for the soul.

I know Yamaha has done this the past few years, but this includes mountain sleds as well. You can reserve a spot at a location near you and it's a 2-3 hour ride, not just a 10 mile run. I'm so glad to see Polairs doing this, it's about time! Check this out.

Thank You! I got the invite for McCaul, ID. from a friend who owns the Company that makes the instrumentation for Artic Cat (Medellian) and is courting Polaris for the work. They asked me to do this test ride and write up a report on the gauges. So much riding to do, so little time!

Why no deep snow tour dates for the UP? Apparently Polaris needs a little help understanding the deep snow market isn't limited to the west.

I speak for alot of '08 - '10 800 CFI owners, I have alot of nice things to say, I just have nothing nice to say about Polaris.

Then start your own thread and rip away. I thought for sure I could get a few comments before the negativitiy began. I have plenty of confidence in Polaris.

They understand. Deep snow riding in the UP is limited to very few "legal" riding areas. MSA and the general public prefer you to stay on trail in MI. Polaris has to stay politically correct on this. Fill us in on a specific good spot to hold this off trail event in the UP that will pass the "legal" test and has "Deep snow".

And you also don't own an 800 CFI, I did, enough said.

Very true. Instead of saying "Polaris customers", you could have said " a lot of 800 cfi owners have lost confidence in them" and we wouldn't be having this conversation. Just saying...

I said it correctly, it isn't limited to just CFI 800 owners, I'm sure the '05 Fusion 900 owners would like to be included also, just saying.

Well, I guess we could discuss what you are riding currently, and then we could go back in time and find out the crappy models they made also. BUT, I'll just step out of this one. ALL brands have made junk models before, and they will in the future also.

back to the post topic.
Polaris did have one in Eagle River last year. We didn't know about it ahead of time. we were told when we got into town. headed over to their setup and asked to go for ride. they said invite only. one group out already while 5 sleds sit idle. and the 5 of us that showed up were on Polaris. 2 of them were seriously thinking of going new the following year. the guy wouldn't budge. he even kinda freaked out when we started one up. so all you invited ones - enjoy!

Good idea about test rides...I use to ride Polaris and love the new look of the RMK but to bad I do not live out west because it sounds ilegal to go off the trail in Michigan with a paddle track model that Polaris sells.

Wonder why they sell that model around here anyway?

Oh well hope I can get a 2 to 3 hr test ride on a Polaris, my mind is always open.

Einne,

Did you go to the link? You can reserve a spot and it even tells you how many "seats available" at each location. No invitations needed to this ride.
