I would just go to the hardware store, get a 2 gallon can and a couple ratchet straps. Save your money for a nice system to mount to your new mountain sled that you buy on the way home from your trip with the Apex!;)

looking for ideas on extra gas tank going out west would like to have the option to carry extra pictures would be great if pos

Are you riding mountain powder with stock Apex XTX or trails? I can see addtional gas for trails but not for high marking already way way too heavy. Recently lifted rear end of stock Apex XTX & weighs sooooooo much more than my 2007 Attak I can't imagine digging an Apex XTX out of a trench with snow sticking to the rear. Stock Apex XTX a top notch trail sled but powder then a full spare gas tank not sure you should do that going to be tuff going for sure!

Now that there is funny!! Nothing like a few good deep powder sticks to make you re-think the whole thing!
