Thanks for the TRUTH, the other thread had so much garbage in it and other things was wondering if I went wrong. I have always had 600"s with no issue's at all but came across this sled at a dealer with a good price. I am by no means a aggresive driver but will strongly consider the extended warranty.

yea I have a 600 iq cfi with 7k trouble free, so was very disappointed with the 2012..all 3 times broke down on a trip(Polaris doesn't refund that pissed away money). u can buy the 4 year extended for 1600 or so and make 4 payments. they should have mailed you the letter. its worth the money, the last meltdown alone after the 1 year was 4500 bucks.

i think the biggest thing is pay attention what your putting in it for gas. dont buy the cheap stuff and always runa fuel additive for ethenol protection

I always try run 91 octane with no ethonal in it and seafoam as my stabilizer. On the 2013's there is a fuction to slect 87 octane with ethonal and 91 with out ethonal. I am also looking into extended warranty.

I put the Summitseeker's ice scratchers from snow west PM Summitseeker for them. They are reversible. I also bought the mounts that let you mount the scratches behind the wheels. They work great.

I have a 2012 SB Assault. the heated dash storage bag is awesome. It would be the first add on I buy. You can keep an extra pair of gloves, goggles, and other stuff in there. and it gets warm. it's awesome.

buy that warranty! if money is an issue, skip the add ons, run 4 inch stock carbides, and use an old back pack.
